Since moving to Washington, DC, in 1958, Chris has remained intimately involved in the prayer breakfast movement. The prayer breakfast movement began in the early 1940s with the formation of fellowship groups among Members of the House and Senate in the United States Congress. To this day, these groups continue to gather weekly for private, off-the-record times of prayer, fellowship, soul-searching, and spiritual instruction centered in the Jesus who belongs not just to Christianity, but all nations and religions.
